![]() Players don’t need to own any previous Borderlands games to play it. To get people excited for it, 2K is releasing Dragon Keep as a standalone game on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. While Dragon Keep isn’t a prequel, the upcoming game is essentially a full-length riff on the same idea. In actual fact, a huge new DLC is now available for Borderlands 2 VR. ![]() While fans may be raring to jump into Borderlands 3 on the 13th of September, that isn’t the only Borderlands release happening this week. ![]() Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep is the clear inspiration for the next full-length Borderlands game, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, coming in March of 2022. New Borderlands 2 VR BAMF DLC Now Available for Free. It isn’t necessary to have played through the Borderlands 2 story to enjoy it, but it’s highly recommended. The DLC’s story is filled with callbacks to the main game, and there are some surprisingly touching moments as the characters come to terms with some of its less examined low points. Gameplay is more or less the same as regular Borderlands - go around big environments, shoot everything that moves, bring along some co-op friends if you can - but it’s an extended riff on fantasy movies and video games. The action then switches to the in-universe RPG, with players going through a fantasy narrative as told by Tina.
